The Office of the Superintendent oversees the Agency's goals and objectives, policies and procedures and organizational structure and is under the supervision of  Colonel John A. Bolduc, Superintendent of Law Enforcement and Public Safety.

Colonel Bolduc directly oversees the Divisions of Field Services, Investigative Services and Administrative Services.

The Divisions of Executive Protection, Professional Standards and Public Information are overseen by Lt. Colonel Andrew Duis.

The Superintendent's office is located in the Nebraska State Patrol Headquarter's building in Lincoln.
