The Nebraska State Patrol Training Academy is jointly located with the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island. The troopers and staff of the NSPTA are responsible for training each camp of recruits as they work to become Troopers. The NSPTA is also responsible for ongoing training given to all troopers each year, with specialty training offered for a wide-variety of specialty positions within NSP.
