Troop B - Norfolk
Troop B Headquarters in Norfolk, Nebraska, is the Nebraska State Patrol's largest Troop Area, comprising 20 counties and nearly 13,681 square miles. Troop B borders South Dakota to the north and Iowa to the east. It spans as far west as Holt County and south to Platte and Nance Counties. The area, like the population, is very diverse, ranging from the rural sandhills to the rolling hills along the Missouri River.

Troop B is Commanded by Captain Paul Hagen
The Command staff of Troop B has a combined total of nearly 65 years of service. Thirty-six sworn Troopers assigned to the Field Services Division are stationed in communities across the Troop Area. Additionally, five full-time civilian staff members are responsible for administrative and evidence management duties.
Troop B personnel are focused on reducing traffic crashes and fatalities through the use of safety and educational initiatives. Troopers study data to determine areas of concern and traffic trends. This data is used to formulate safety initiatives and special enforcement efforts. With more than 197,386 Nebraskans living within the Troop B boundaries, Troopers respond to a variety of calls for service, assist local law enforcement agencies and state agencies, including the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT). By maintaining positive relationships with their safety partners, Troop B Troopers work hard to keep the road a safe place to travel and Nebraska a safe place to live.
